Der Lixel K2 ist ein leichter 3D-Scanner, der aus einem Scan unterschiedliche Datenformate erzeugen kann – darunter Punktwolken, Photogrammetrie Meshes und 3D Gaussian Splatting-Daten. Der Scanner liefert nicht nur eine immersive, fotorealistische Darstellung, sondern auch eine präzise Punktwolke für technische und planerische Anwendungen.
Beim Event zeigen wir, was der neue Scanner kann, wie der Workflow aussieht und warum Gaussian Splatting für immersive 3D-Erlebnisse gerade so spannend ist.

On May 21, XR Bavaria, XR Hub Munich and XGRIDS are hosting a joint event to launch the new XGRIDS Lixel K2.
The Lixel K2 is a lightweight 3D scanner that can generate different types of data from a single scan, including point clouds, photogrammetry meshes and 3D Gaussian Splatting data. It delivers not only immersive, photorealistic visual results, but also precise point clouds for technical and planning-related applications.
At the event, we will demonstrate what the new scanner can do, how the workflow works and why Gaussian Splatting is currently such an exciting technology for immersive 3D experiences.
